Diwali Celebration in Green Bay, Wisconsin – Fall 2019
Hindu YUVA at The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, 10/25/19:
Hindu YUVA UWGB celebrated Diwali and dinner was available for all students without any cost. There was also an option to get Henna at $5 per hand and all proceeds went to a charity for reviving the Cauvery River in Bharat (Cauvery Calling).
Hindu YUVA UWGB raised approximately $100 at the event for reviving the Cauvery River in Bharat. Students really enjoyed the free Indian food (catered from a local Indian restaurant) and getting henna done.
