Light the Night in Bloomington, Illinois – Fall 2019

Hindu YUVA at Illinois Wesleyan University, 12/5/19:

“Light the Night” is an on-campus multicultural celebration of the season of light to celebrate the stories, songs, and meanings of various traditions and winter holidays – as well as what they mean to IWU students. Hindu Yuva participated in this event by sharing experiences regarding Diwali and the significance of light in Hindu Dharma. In addition, Shruti Pattekar, a junior at IWU, performed a semi-classical dance.
