Shalomaste in Amherst, Massachusetts – Spring 2020

Hindu YUVA at The University of Massachusetts Amherst, 4/19/20:

UMass Hindu YUVA, in collaboration with Hillel, organized an online event called “Shalomaste!” on Zoom, to have a light-hearted discussion on the similarities and differences between Hinduism and Judaism, two of the worlds oldest surviving religions. The event saw a participation of around 35 people including students and faculty members belonging to various faiths. A host of topics were discussed including weddings, food, languages, Holy Books, conception of God, etc.
